When Jonathon Broce joined the company 2 years ago, they rebranded it to MHI Roofing, and the results have been nothing short of impressive.

For MHI Roofing, referrals have always been the best leads, but tracking where they came from and ensuring sales reps were compensated accordingly was challenging. As Jonathon Broce explains, “It’s all about data and tracking it. And that’s the beauty of this. You can track what the sales reps are doing.”

The Referral Challenge and Solution
Before GTR, MHI Roofing used a personalized landing page for each sales rep to track leads. But when they heard about Get The Referral, they realized it was the perfect solution to streamline the process and manage their team’s referrals more effectively.

Jonathon describes how MHI Roofing took a real estate strategy with their sales team: each sales rep had their own marketing materials, including flyers, yard signs, Facebook pages, and referral links. This allowed each new lead to be traced back to the sales rep. With referrals closing at a 60%-70% rate, these leads are invaluable.

“Now I have a way to measure what the guys are and aren’t doing. Before it was like, well, I hope they’re out there networking. Now I can put them side-by-side with the top three guys and analyze what they are doing that can be shared with the rest of the team for success! ”

How GTR Helped Engage the Sales Team
The sales team fully engages with the program and even asks customers to download the app during the first phone call. Jonathon notes that about 70% of their customers have downloaded the app. “It starts with the first phone call, when we set the appointment. The scheduling team calls the prospect and prompts the app by saying that it will help customers follow the status of their project at each stage and get real-time pictures! ”

Integrating Company Cam with GTR for Better Communication
MHI Roofing also integrated their custom-branded app with CompanyCam, a GTR partner, to allow field workers to take pictures of projects and tag them for customers to view. “We’ve been able to put the pictures in there, making it more than just the referrals to get started. And then once they sell the job, then we ask for referrals.”
